Capital Cooling was established in 2002 and in just a short time has become one of the pioneers in the district cooling and SWAC, sea water air conditioning, area. Within our team are some of the world´s leading experts in district cooling and business developers of energy related projects. Involved in more than 50% of the district cooling schemes in Europe we are the reference authority in the subject.

The main idea of district cooling is to use local sources for cooling that otherwise would be wasted or not used, in order to offer the local market a competitive and high-efficient alternative to the traditional cooling solutions. The centrally produced district cooling can reach 5–10 times higher efficiency than local electricity-driven equipment and has lower operational costs, higher operational reliability and availability.

Capital Cooling can, besides being an investor, offer services as project developer including identification and evaluation of business prospects, strategic business development, business management, financial solutions, risk management, procurement and contract management as well as due-diligence and re-engineering of energy projects with focus on district cooling.
