Catator AB Catator AB develops, produces and sells catalysts and catalytic systems based on proprietary technologies to the existing and future cleantech- and energy markets, providing customers with added values like superior efficiency, compactness and design flexibility. Our products are made primarily for the following areas: Emission abatement, industrial and domestic heating, hydrogen and fuel cell industry.

Catator AB was founded in 1990 by a group of academic research specialist. The company quickly became a pioneer in the high-tech field of catalysis and customized catalytic process design. Catator has its headquarter in the Ideon Science Park in Lund (Skåne), and a production line for catalyst manufacturing in Reftele (Småland), i.e. 200 km north of our head quarter in Lund.

Catator offers high-tech catalysis and customized catalytic process design where peak performance and system integration are essential. Catator’s technology is based on our proprietary catalyst manufacturing technology, which let us produce highly efficient catalyst on any kind of substrate like wire meshes, heat exchange plates or any other type of surface of interest. Compared to conventional catalysts (i.e. monoliths, pellets), our technology opens up for more compact and flexible designs, simultaneously as the efficiency and durability are still high and the pressure drop is kept low.

Catator´s products are divided into four different business areas:

C•COMBUSTION- Fuel flexible catalytic burners for heat production
C•EMISSION- For selective ammonia, odor, methane and VOC destruction
C•HYDROGEN- For hydrogen (H2)/Reformate gas production for industrial applications and fuel cells
C•POWER- For energy production with fuel cell technology
